Baby Shower

Alison Jenson (my college roommate) and my sister-in-law, Blakley Shelby threw me an AWESOME baby shower this past weekend. It rained all day, which I didn't mind as it rained on my wedding shower and my wedding day. Lots of good family friends and family were there. My 1-3rd grade reading teacher (I like to tell her that it is due to her that I got in to UT), our old neighbors, the Tylers, The Struebers, and my godmother all made it out to Coppell for the Baby Shower. I had alot of fun with everyone. We played a few games - one of which was the string around my belly game. Charleen won and my 90 year old Grandma was a close 2nd. Below are a few pictures from the shower.

The food table - check out Ali's homemade cakes-a boy and a girl baby carriage. Blakley also made my favorite chicken salad sandwiches

Personalized M&M's that said Baby Mueller. They were in our nursery colors, turquoise and brown. We also had personalized M&M's at our wedding - LOVE that they did this for the shower

Decorations and presents - boy and girl outfit - so cute! Who knows which one will get used?!?

The hostesses and I

Playing the string game - apparently my Aunt Nancy thought it was hilarious that Grandma got so close!

One of 3 Handmade blankets that Betty Anne Tyler made for me! SO SPECIAL! She knit all of them. I can't wait to see which one becomes the bean's "woobie". :)

My Mom got us the "coming home" outfits!!! Below is the lil girl coming home outfit - I had a dress VERY similar to this. It has a really cute lil bonnet and some adorable socks

If we have a lil boy, he'll have a sailor coming home outfit!!!

I love all of the people in this picture - they are such a great support for Doug and I

My Mom's best friend, Judy, sent the "My First Astros Shirt!" She also sent a pair of Jellie shoes if we have a girl. All growing up, Judy always sent me Jellie shoes!

Ali handmade us this blanket in the nursery colors! SO COOL! She also made matching burp cloths!

The Moms and I

The Muellers - check out how Doug has a turquoise shirt! He's so cute!

Betty Anne, my Mom, and I

Everyone signed this "push" shirt for me. The wrote inspirational messages (and funny ones) for me to read instead of looking at an ugly hospital gown.

Thanks to Ali and Blakley for such a beautiful shower! Love you guys!
