So...I've been a REALLY bad blogger in the last month or so. Sorry! I've been busy launching my new business! It's official! I'm a professional photographer! YIPPEE! I cannot tell you how great it feels to be doing something that I'm passionate about. Doug and I have spent a lot of time in prayer about me not working full time. We've both been quite anxious about it. God is good though! I've been wanting to start my own photography business for years now. With some urging from my husband to "just do it already," I have launched Brooke Shelby Photography. Things have been going great with newborn shoots, bluebonnet "mini shoots" and much more already on the books. I'm meeting with a gal to discuss possibly being her wedding photographer...yikes! In a nutshell - GOD IS GOOD! Thanks to everyone who has listened to me ramble about wanting to be a photographer...and an even BIGGER thank you to the folks who have let me use them as "test subjects" for the last few years to grow my portfolio. I have 2 more weeks of working for Rubbermaid and then I'll be a stay at home Mommy who moonlights as a photographer. :)
