I can't believe that my sweet baby boy is three years old. Kelson turned three on July 13. I will never forget the day he was born. Kelson was born at 7:43 am and weighed 8pounds and 9oz. The last 3 years have been the best of Doug and I's life. We feel so blessed that God entrusted our lil fireball to us to raise. He always keeps us on our toes and amazes us everyday with how smart he is. Kelson - we love you and the lil person that you are. You are such a great and protective big brother to Parker. We love that you are always watching out for him. We love your creativity and imagination. You make us laugh and bring so much joy to our family.
We started off the day by going to get donuts with KK, Aunt Blakley, and cousins Brooklynn and Tripp (we of course went to Donut Palace - the donut place that we've frequented since I was in the 4th grade)
Doing some dancing to music on Mommy's phone
See the family resemblance?!? Sweet Tripp is 4 months old and Brooklynn is 4
While Parker was taking his morning nap, Kelson and I did an art project. At preschool on your bday, you get to walk around and wear a crown for the day. I decided that even though Kelson's bday is in the summer, he should still have a crown. Kelson is concentrating hard on making his crown.
We had some cupcakes that night to celebrate and Kelson kept saying "I get dir dir like Parker?" He wanted to put his face in his cupcake like Parker did on his first bday...so...that's what he did.
Time to play with a birthday toy! Mommy and Daddy got him a new backhoe...he loves it.
On Saturday the 14th, we had a birthday party for Kelson at the Aquatic Center. It's so hot in July that it limits bday party options. I had almost all of my birthdays at the pool, so I figured Kelson could too.
Poor Kelson didn't get any bday party decorations...this is literally all I made...oh well
Aunt Erica and Baby Madie
How cute are her lil pigtails?!?
All Kelson wanted to do was jump in the pool. Aunt Becky got the first "shift" of catching Kelson in the pool. Pretty sure she caught him for about an hour.
Anna Grace enjoying the pool
Brooks also loved jumping in
Aunt Sherry and Grandma (or gammer as Kelson calls her)
I think Parker was WELL taken care of...how many adults does it take to feed the baby?
Kelson loves him some Mickey Mouse
Once we got home, it was time to open presents. Parker was helping too.
Kelson loves this show called Dinosaur Train on PBS. Uncle Scott and Aunt Erica got him these 2 dinosaurs that talk to each other. He LOVES them. KK has already bought him another one so that all 3 talk to each other.
Cool Dude Parker trying on Grandpa's glasses
He's making them talk to each other...exciting
Gammer and Grandpa got Kelson a sand table...he loves it.
Kelson loves to swim. He likes wearing his goggles and going under the water.
Playing with the dinosaur train that The Cloutiers got Kelson...also a favorite.
Happy Birthday to our first born. We love you Kelson!
