Let it Snow!, Playgroup, and Preschool Program

We've had quite the winter so far.  It's been super cold already and now it has snowed!  The boys had lots of fun playing in the snow, digging out the Christmas lights, and eating it.

Brothers all bundled up and ready to play

Kelson was very concerned that the Christmas lights were buried under the snow.  He then enlisted Parker to help him dig out the lights

Playgroup
Our Friday Playgroup is awesome.  Kate always helps organize great activities...one of those being having her dad come dressed up as Santa.  It's awesome.  He comes in and sings songs with the kids and then they all take turns sitting on Santa's lap.  As you may recall - last year Kelson was the only one to actually sit on his lap.  This year, lots of kiddos were interested.

Santa informed me that I had "lots of kids" and there might not be enough room...haha...yes Santa - you're right.
This was shortly before Shelby had yet another diaper explosion...don't worry Mindy - most was on the carseat...
One night last week, we ventured out to Downtown Grapevine to check out the Christmas lights.  The kids had fun running through the lights tunnel and dancing to the Christmas music.

Preschool Program - Christmas
Kelson got to be a shepherd this year for the preschool program (or Joseph as Kelson tells me..."No Mommy - I'm Joseph - Jesus's Daddy!"  This was the first program that he really got in to it and sang the songs and did the movements.  So cute.

Parker "powering" up with some snacks...this pic cracks me up.  Parker picks something new on a daily/weekly basis that he "latches" on to and will then carry with us wherever we go.  He always has rabbit close by, but then there is something else he carries (notice in the snow pictures he has a firm grip on a giraffe...that was the toy last week he had to have at all times).  The day of Kelson's preschool program, it was this basketball rattle that straps to your wrist.
