Well...after much urging from Kate and Lindsey, we have decided to start a blog for our growing family. As all of you know, I am pregnant! The due date is 7/19/09. Before you ask - we won't be finding out the sex. You'll have to wait until July to find out! Don't worry though, Burnt Orange is unisex! We are both very excited and can't wait to meat the "lil bean".
As for me - I've been dealing with constant nausea since the 2nd week of November. I've already worn out my taste buds on saltine crackers and sprite, so now I'm trying Wheat Thins. Thanks to Blakley and Ali, I've also been chowing down on "pregi pops" which seem to help for about 20-30 minutes. No big deal though - thankfully we got a new TV for our bedroom, so I've spent LOTS of time breaking the new tv in.
We had ALOT of fun surprising our families with the news of our expanding family! We told Dad at the finish line of my marathon which was fun. He immediately said "You just ran a marathon though! Is that safe?!?". (yes - my Dr. approved the marathon). We had Mom over for dinner and surprised her and then the rest of the Shelby Family. We went to Lake Jackson for Thanksgiving and gave Anne and Rick presents -a frame and a bib that says "who needs Santa when I have Grandma". So fun! Anne of course immediately burst into tears. I've seriously never seen someone produce tears so quickly! SERIOUSLY! I then of course started bawling. I've also told our friends by blurting out "I'm Pregnant!". Apparently I stink at keeping this a secret!
I'll try to post the sonogram soon and update on our doctor appointment yesterday. It was sooooo special and amazing!
Merry Christmas!!!!

YAY!! I'm so excited about Mini Mueller and this blog. Even though we live in the same city at the moment I feel like sometimes it goes too long between when we see each other! Now I have a way to track the belly progress! :)
ReplyDeleteErin, I hope the nausea goes away soon and you can really enjoy lil bean growning. This is one of the most joyful and miraculous times of your life.
