Kelson is now 11 months old. I can't believe I'm already planning a 1 year birthday party. CRAZY. This last month has been awesome with Kelson. He is starting to be a "real person" as Doug says. I love getting him out of his crib every morning - he is typically jumping in his bed laughing and making noises. He is such a happy baby. This month he has started saying "dog". He says dog all day long. We spend a lot of time "petting/beating" on the dogs and talking to them. Kelson is still not interested in walking. He will do laps holding on to furniture and has even stood on his own a few times, but he does not want to hold your hands and practice walking...just isn't interested. He on the other hand is a VERY fast crawler. He is quick quick quick. Kelson loves to clap his hands and stomp his feet when you sing "if you're happy and you know it..." Kelson is talking more and more each day. He now knows that Doug is "dada" and I'm "mama" and says them to the correct person. I typically only get "mama" when he's hungry or tired, but I'll take it! As for food - every day is different. Somedays he loves eating real food and others he just throws it all on the floor (which the dogs love). For the most part, he eats: banana, yogurt, cheerios, grilled cheese, turkey, sliced cheese, green beans, peas, and a lot of the food we eat at dinner. He still isn't a huge fan of veggies, but we try. Kelson's favorite activities this month: swimming, splashing, climbing things - including stairs, clapping, waving (loves to wave to everyone all the time - it's my favorite).
I love you sweet Kelson - you are such a blessing!
