North "Cackalacky"

Doug, Kelson, and I ventured to Raleigh, North Carolina last weekend to visit the Morenos.  Doug and I are Kara's Godparents, so we went to attend the Baptism.  Kara was a perfect lil angel during the mass.  She even had big smiles for the congregation when she was presented as a new Christian.  It was really awesome.  We had a great weekend with them filled with shakes, some great Italian food, homemade kolaches, and these awesome "trays of burgers with a side of corn dog".  We went to Wrightsville Beach for some pictures and playing.  Kelson of course loved the beach and even tried to sneak in a few handfuls of sand in his mouth.
As for the flights - going to NC was pretty uneventul - Kelson slept for about 15 minutes, and played quietly the rest of the flight.  He loves to look out the window.  Coming home was a different story.  Doug and I were on different flights coming home, so it was just me and Kelson.  Kelson's allergies flared up when we were in NC, so I gave him some benadryl to help with his congestion...only problem is I accidentally gave him a double dose...seriously oops...anyway - we get on the plane and of course we are sitting next to a 6'3" businessman...AWKWARD when I have to nurse Kelson...we survived and due to the benadryl, Kelson slept the whole flight.
