Parker update

Parker has had a great couple of days!  The above picture was taken this morning after they removed all of his tubes, lights, etc!  Yep - that's right!  He is not on any oxygen, IV's, or anything.  They removed the oxygen this morning and after a rough couple of minutes, he figured things out and for the most part has done great just breathing room air all day.  Praise GOD!  His bilirubin level also dropped drastically, so they removed the awful blue lights.  It was so nice to just be able to see Parker without anything on his face and be able to snuggle him without an IV or oxygen tubes.  He is still attached to the monitors, so they can continue to watch everything.  We were told this morning that if he continues on this path, he should get to go home either Friday or Saturday.  He is also eating really well and digesting great!  

Thank you everyone for all of your thoughts and prayers.  The Lord is answering our prayers.  He has laid His hands on Parker and helped in his healing.  Parker has exceeded all of the doctors' expectations and I know that is due to your fervent prayers.  We can't thank you enough!

Hopefully the next update will be pictures of Parker at home with us.
