5 year Anniversary and Father's Day

Friday, Doug and I celebrated 5 years of marriage!  It's hard to believe that it's already been 5 years.  We've been very blessed in the last 5 years with the birth of our two boys, travel to Hawaii (twice), Europe, Seattle, San Fran, New York, California, Arizona, and lots of travel in Texas.  I'm looking forward to growing old with Doug.  We often joke about our "retirement" years.  We are hoping to sell our house, buy an RV, and go to all of the pro baseball parks in one summer and then conclude it with some UT games.  Doug says he'll only wear coveralls and he can't wait!  teehee

Anywho - for our anniversary - my friend, Brittany helped me come up with a pretty great idea!  I planned 12 dates (one for each month) for Doug and I.  I wrote out what we'd be doing and why and put any tickets, etc in each envelope for him to open each month.  We are starting out June with some putt putt golf (what we did when we first started dating 7 years ago).  See below for our 12 dates:
June: putt putt
July: Gelato and movie date
August: Rangers game vs Red Sox
September: Max Stalling concert at the arboretum
October: West Side Story at FairPark Music Hall
November: Top Golf
December: Carriage Ride to go see the Christmas Lights
January: IMAX movie
February: Fondue
March: Riding the Dart to a fancy dinner in Dallas
April: 18 holes of golf together
May: Horse Races

I'm really excited for our dates!  I thought this would be a good way to make sure we spend some alone time together...especially since we now have 2 kiddos...it'll get even harder to get out of the house.
