Kelson LOVES his baby brother. He still doesn't say Parker, but he calls him "baby" or "peeee". Whenever Parker starts to fuss, Kelson gets very concerned and says "uh oh, baby sad!". He then tries to shove Parker's paci in his mouth (even if Parker isn't really interested) and puts a blanket on him (apparently those are the only 2 things Parker needs). It's really cute. So far, he isn't really acting out that much. For the most part, Kelson has been fully entertained by either my Mom, me, or Doug since Parker came home. My Mom has been AWESOME! She's been coming over at 7am so that she can get Kelson out of bed and feed him breakfast and play with him so that I can "sleep in". It's been great! Kelson loves to snuggle on the couch under the UT blanket with "KK" and read stories every morning. He now likes to call her on his Elmo Phone. He'll be really sad that she's out of town for the next 2 weeks. Luckily - Doug's Mom is coming in town for a few days, so he'll still be spoiled by a Grandma for a few more days. :).
I just love their sweet feet. Kelson's feet seemed so small until Parker was born. Now, Kelson seems HUGE!
Kelson likes to share all of his toys with the baby...he brought all of these over from his toy basket and put them on Doug's lap for Parker to play with.
First of many times I'll be dressing them alike (I figure I'd better enjoy it while it lasts). Thanks to Claire for the ADORABLE outfits!!!
Such sweet pictures, Erin! I love the feet!! I might have to use that idea when baby girl arrives. Congrats again!
ReplyDeleteOh, this makes me so excited for our baby P to have a sibling some day. :) Precious, precious pictures.
ReplyDeleteAnd you're right - Kelson used to seem so little, and now he's the big boy!
