I never thought I'd say this...but Doug and I really love living in Coppell. We love the sense of community we feel there. It feels like a small town and I love that. One of the many benefits of living in Coppell are the community events. The parades, festivals, picnics, etc are awesome. We went to the Coppell Fire Station Open House and the boys had a blast (Shelby slept through it).
Kelson getting ready to play some games
Parker was a little unsure of things. This is Parker's fireman hat from preschool. They talked about fireman the week before and Parker wore this hat solid for a few days...He even slept in it.
Tongue out makes him much more accurate
Parker is definitely our more timid child. He likes to take things in and really observe before he participates or really says much. He was a little unsure of everything at the Fire Station.
Getting to shoot the water hose
The fire fighters were doing all kinds of demonstrations. This was when we watched one of the fire fighters "rescuing" someone who was stranded hanging up high.
Sweet boy scared of loud noises
Just to prove she was there...Shelby snoozing through the open house
Time to try on the fireman gear
Kelson's face when we want to take pictures...this is common
And to prove I was there...a picture with Mom
So sweet. Parker loves to hold your hand...especially Daddy's hand
