Showering Shelby Ann

A very dear family friend, Betty Anne, threw Shelby a fantastic Baby Shower.  Betty Anne and her family lived 2 houses down from my family growing up.  I idolized her daughter, Lauren.  She was 2 years older and always seemed so much cooler than me.  It was really fun for me that this special family was who threw Shelby her shower.  Betty Anne did an amazing job!  The food was fantastic and everyone had a great time.
3 very special ladies - Claire, Kate, and Courtney
Great Aunt Ginnie holding Shelby.  Aunt Ginnie loves to hold babies.
Betty Anne had all kinds of old pictures of me around.  It was fun to see how much Shelby looks like my baby picture.  The neighbors threw my Mom a baby shower when she had me (since she had also had 2 boys first) and there were pictures from that shower.  So neat.

Aunt Erica holding Shelby
Mom and Ms Strueber (my 2nd Mom) reminiscing and looking at the old pictures
Why do I make this face?  My eyebrows are ridiculous.  I have SO many embarrassing pictures like this...you think I would learn..but no...this is my excited face.
LOVE.  Bloomers with Shelby's name on them
I love this picture.  All 3 of these women have touched my life in different ways.  First is Mrs. Strueber (my BFF's Mom and my 2nd Mom), then my godmother Armi who is obviously special, and then Noel Cloutier (our current neighbor and dear friend).
eek.  Smocked cuteness!  (crazy eyebrows again)
This was Brooklynn's favorite book when she was a baby...love that I will be reading it to Shelby
Lauren (aka that super cool girl from my childhood) finally getting to hold Shelby.  Lauren worked lots on the day of the shower to make sure everyone's glasses were full and plates were cleared.
Betty Anne called me back in August and told me that she wanted to gift me with the boys Halloween costumes.  She didn't tell me what she was going to make.  She just needed the boys measurements and she was going to make a surprise.  She gave me the costumes at the shower.  She outdid herself!  Seriously.  So cute!

Shelby will be a damsel
And the boys are musketeers/knights.  Check out how cute these are!
Of course the costume comes complete with a sword
Thank you to Betty Anne for showering Shelby with such a special day.  She is so loved and we appreciate everything you did to make it so special.
