Kelson is 3 weeks old!

I can't believe it, but Kelson is already 3 weeks old! CRAZY! Time is already flying by - I don't like it at all. He is growing everyday and is more alert during the day now than he was a few weeks ago. He is doing much better at night and was nice enough to let me get 3 straight hours of sleep in a row, twice last night! Kelson likes to snuggle in the morning and not be in his crib, which I am happy to oblige. Below are pictures from the last couple of days.

Kelson's First bath with a tub full of water, no sponge bath. He actually really likes the bath (mostly). He smells so good after his baths, I just want to smother him with kisses.

During his bath, he would not let go of his UT pacifier, so we just let him keep it while we bathed him. It was kind of funny, but it helped keep him calm

I couldn't resist - his legs are crossed while he is sleeping. He's just so darn cute (yes - I know, I'm biased). He of course has his arms up by his head...this is his favorite way to sleep.

Kelson and I had a bit of a rough day yesterday, and I desperately needed to get out of the house. Doug has been playing in a softball league with some guys here in Coppell. They had a game in the end of the season tourney last night, and I decided it wasn't too hot for Kelson and I to try and go to the game. Well - he spit up on 2 different outfits and I changed his diaper a few times before we could get out the door. We made it for the second game and Kelson actually did really well. At first, he didn't want to be in the car seat, so I just held him and he watched his Daddy pitch.

Tuckered out after a fun night of softball.

Doug and Kelson after the game. Doug's team won, so they play again next Monday. Hopefully Kelson and I can go again as it was nice to be outside and get some fresh air.

  1. Erin just like in my case, you did nothing but carry Kelson for 9 months, b/c he looks JUST like Doug. I can't wait to meet him for the baptism, hopefully I can make it in with Aaron depending on what month it is. Enjoy these times as tiring as they are b/c they go by WAY too fast.
