2 Month Appointment

Today - Kelson had his 2 month appointment. We really like our pediatrician, but we weren't excited about all of the shots (5 shots!) that Kelson had to get. They put us in the "frog" room. This is the room we are always in, and Kelson likes to "mark" the room by either spitting up everywhere or peeing across the room (or both). Today was no different - he managed to pee out of his diaper and soil the paper...the nurse and Dr. Pam think it's funny that Kelson makes his presence known! :)

Everything went well and Kelson is already doing some of the 4 month benchmarks! Yep - he's advanced! He was definitely showing off for Dr. Pam - he was looking all around and following her light back and forth and she quickly realized that he is too long to be on the table facing her, but has to be turned. He had to have 5 shots and I think that I cried more than him. He did great and has just been a lil fussy tonight, but all in all not too bad. Doug and I also got our flu "mist" today, so all 3 of us are good to go.
