A few weekends ago, we went to the airplane museum at Love Field. My Dad, aka Papa, came with us. My Dad has been in the aerospace business for over 30 years, so him and Doug like to talk about how cool airplanes/helicopters are...so...off we went. We were all surprised by how much they had. We thought it'd be this small exhibit, but they had TONS. The whole reason for going was because I wanted to get some pictures of old airplanes for Kelson's "big boy room" (which we are doing in an airplane theme). We had a great time and Kelson had a good time talking to this...
yep...giant flag = Kelson's dream world! He kept climbing up the stairs by the fighter plane to get a little closer. He pretty much did that the whole time...
Kelson with one of the model airplanes
Yep - we found a Bell Helicopter. Pretty sure Dad was more excited to see it than Kelson. Kelson was just pumped b/c they had a bin full of flags. Yep - we took it home with us.
Kelson and Papa being silly. They love each other. He knows which house is Papa's now and often tries to make a detour to Papa's house when we go for walks.
Kelson is waving to the giant flag...I wasn't kidding about his love of flags...
for those of you that wanted to see my bump...you can kind of see it in this picture. Sorry Meg - I'll do it someday...I promise!
