Babysitting Brooks Pierce

On Tuesday, I watched my godson, Brooks.  His sitter had a family emergency, so I was happy to help out Sarah/Clint.  I do have to admit - having 2 babies 8 months apart that aren't used to be being together all day, was a challenge.  We had a great time and Brooks really is such a sweet lil boy.  He did have an upset tummy on Tuesday, so he went through all of his outfits and everyone ended up getting a bath at noon.  They had a blast in the bath together and I loved watching them splash together.  Those are the moments that make me excited about Kelson being a big brother.  Kelson did have some issues with me holding Brooks, etc.  Hopefully he will get used to baby #2 quickly...

I also realized that when you are taking care of two, it's hard to get the camera out to capture them...below are the only 3 pics I took!  I did get one cute one of them in the tub on my phone...maybe I'll get around to loading my phone pictures this century...

How sweet is he?
Kelson pointing to the "baby".  I figured out if I told Kelson that Brooks is a baby, he was really sweet to Brooks.  He's used to us telling him to be gentle to cousin Madie, so I think it helped.
I'm excited to see these 2 grow-up together.  I can't wait until we get both of them hunting/fishing together.  Doug and Clint are chomping at the bit to take them...
