Parker is Two Months Old!

I'm really far behind on blogging...I still need to blog about Kelson's second birthday, our trip to the Frio, and lake fun with some friends...

Parker turned 2 months old on July 20th.  It's crazy to me how fast the last two months has gone.  You think it goes by fast the first time, but WOW, the second time goes even faster!  Parker is quite possibly the best baby!  He is really easy going and honestly rarely cries.  He typically just grunts at me if he's hungry or tired.  He's used to napping on the go as we are always out and about with Kelson.  He loves his special snuggle time with Daddy after Kelson goes to bed.  He really likes to sleep on your chest and I'm pretty sure he'd do it all day long if you let him.  In the last month, Parker has really started to smile and coo.  He started smiling when we were visiting my Grandma at the Frio a few weeks ago.  We tickle his chin and make silly faces and he starts smiling right away.  It's awesome.  He has also started tracking things which is great!  

We went for Parker's two month well check-up today...everyone was loving all of your rolls!  They agreed with us, that your thighs are the BEST.  We love having a lil chunky monkey baby!  I've always wanted a fat baby, and boy did we get one!  You are literally off of the charts. 

Weight = 14lbs 15.5 oz (97%)

Height = 25.5 inches (>97%)

Head Size = 16.5inches (90-97%)

To put this in perspective - Kelson was 12 pounds at his two month check-up.  3 pound difference between the 2 boys!  Kelson and Parker are both the exact same length at 2 months.  Doug and I comment everyday how different Parker is from Kelson...He's bigger, started smiling sooner, doesn't have sensitive skin like Kelson, doesn't have reflux (thank the Lord), loves the car, and likes to snuggle.  Parker is in 6 month size clothes at 2 months old...so much for using Kelson's clothes for Parker.

Dear Sweet Parker,

You are an absolute joy.  You make your Mommy, Daddy, and Big Brother smile every single day.  You have such a sweet nature and love to snuggle with everyone.  You also love to smile at your big brother and follow his voice.  I think you probably recognize his voice first even over Mommy's.  You are truly a blessing to our family.  We thank the Lord for you and pray everyday for your life and devotion to Christ.
