October was filled with visits to the pumpkin patch, park, and just enjoying the beautiful weather. I took Kelson and Parker to the HUGE patch in Flower Mound and K had a great time on the bounce houses. He literally climbed up to slide down this one about 20 times. After each slide down, he'd ask me "one more?" How could I resist?
Kelson is obsessed with the Lion King right now. Every morning he asks for "more Lion Song". He loves the intro song "circle of life" and asks to watch it over and over again. He names the animals and is mesmerized by the Lions. I got him a stuffed Pumpa and Simba and he loves them. Pumba has been everywhere with us this week - including preschool.
Peek-a-boo!
I wanted to get a few pics of Parker in the patch. Kelson is holding up the stem of Parker's Pumpkin Hat. It was hilarious. Kelson didn't want the stems to slump down.
Then Kelson put on Parker's other knit hat...that is WAY too small for Kelson. He refused to take it off. It looked like a yarmalke. He looked ridiculous walking around the pumpkin patch, but all I could do was laugh.
I have this same picture of Kelson in the pumpkin patch. Love my sweet boy! Here is the link to Kelson's first patch...see the resemblance?
My family hosted our annual TX/OU party Friday night before the big game...the "game" wasn't much of a game, but Doug and I had fun eating corn dogs, drinking a beer, and just the general excitement of the TX/OU game.
