Where'd November go?

OK - to say that I've been a little busy the last 7 weeks would be a definite understatement.  This is the first week since mid October that I have a little "breathing" room.  I've been slammed with sessions, Christmas Mini Sessions, editing, creating Christmas Cards, etc.  I've been staying up late every night for 5 weeks editing up a storm.  My iMac has actually had a permanent place on our dining room table for so long.  Needless to say with the holidays fast approaching, I'm pretty much finished with the busiest time of the year for me photography wise.  It's nice to have my computer back upstairs and to actually sit on the couch with Doug once the kids go to sleep.  With that being said - I'm the WORST blogger EVER!  I'm hoping to have everything updated by the end of this week...

I'll start with HALLOWEEN!  Halloween?  What?  It's December 14th you might be saying...well...I can't NOT post about Halloween.

For Halloween this year, my good friend, Brittany and I decided to dress up the kids to match.  Kelson plays with Brittany's daughter, Anna Grace (we've already arranged their marriage) almost weekly and they love each other, so we thought it'd be fun to dress them alike.  After a few mishaps making the costumes we finished just in time for the first Halloween Party (which I can't find the pictures from...).  The kids were all cookies (the girls were sugar cookies and the boys were chocolate chip cookies), Dads were Cookie Monster, and the Moms wore Got Milk? shirts.

Parker eating his cookie...yum yum
Such a happy boy
Uncle Scott as Mario.  He wore this the WHOLE day at Papa Murphy's...it was funny
On Halloween night, we went to 3 neighborhood parties...it was fun, but exhausting
Party #1 in our neighborhood!  The O's hosted our neighborhood for some pizza and drinks before everyone trick or treated.

Kelson's best friend Landon the Dinosaur
The Brady's even came to Coppell to celebrate Halloween with us.  How cute is baby Harrison as a spider??!?
Then it was off to my brother, Rob's house to get the cousins together.  Brooklynn was a witch and Madie was a candy cane princess.
Uncle Rob scared Kelson with his get-up...Brooklynn loved it though
You can't see my Got Milk shirt here, but this is the whole fam ready for some trick or treating!
Party #3 - Brittany's family hosted their neighborhood in their yard for a lil party.  The food was YUMMY and the kids finally got to trick or treat.  I can't seem to find any other pictures of the Gauntt girls in their cookie costumes (Brittany - I'll find them...just haven't found them yet...)

Sweet Anna Grace as a sugar cookie
It was a great Halloween this year.  Kelson really liked wearing his cookie.  He got the chance to wear it quite a few times with all of the Halloween Parties we attended for our playgroup/Mom's Group/Church.
