Parker is 6 months old!

Yes - Parker will be 7 months in 5 days and I'm just now updating about 6 months...eek!  HORRIBLE.

Our lil chunky man is 6 months old and I cannot believe it.  He continues to be the happiest baby I've ever seen.  He definitely has an opinion and will voice it if he needs, but for the most part, he just kind of goes with the flow.  Parker really started trying to play with Kelson in the last month.  He likes to reach for Kelson and pull on his clothes and pass toys back and forth.  They are truly enamored with each other.  This is why Doug and I wanted our kids closer in age - we hope that they'll be best friends.  So far, Parker is the first thing Kelson asks for in the morning and I love that.  Parker has really started to develop quickly from 5 to 6 months.  He started getting better at sitting up and loves his bouncer.  He also is a ROLY POLY!  He rolls the length of the living room and Kelson tells me "Parker roll over!".  As of 6 months, Parker is still sleeping in our room.  He no longer will sleep in the pack n play, so he sleeps the whole night in between Doug and I.  We have a king size, so there is plenty of room and I love the snuggle time.  He rolls from the middle down to me and just snuggles right up to me.  It is my favorite.  It also makes nursing in the middle of the night a breeze!  We would try to get him to sleep in the pack n play, but Parker would scream and fuss, so in our bed he'd go and fall right asleep.  I don't blame him - our pillow top bed is pretty awesome.

Parker is known as Parker Robert to my family.  My niece, Brooklynn, corrects us and says "no!  his name is not Parker, it's Parker Robert"...so...Parker Robert he is.  Even Kelson is starting to call him Parker Robert (no more "par par", but full on "parker robert")

Even though this post is late, I did take him to his well check-up one day after his 6 month birthday and below are his stats - he is HUGE!
Length - 18 inches (90-95%)
Weight - 19pounds 10 ounces (80-90%)
Head Size - 18 inches (90-97%)

Kelson and Parker's Head Size and Length are the EXACT same at 6 months...just differ in the weight (K was 15 pounds at 6 months).  What can I say - I'll probably be the midget of our family with my long babies!

Parker Robert - You are already half a year old and I really want the time to slow down.  You continue to be such a bright light in our family's life.  You make our day with your smile and sweet laugh.  We love that you are so easy to please.  We hope that you continue to be a happy/easy going child.  We thank the Lord every day for you and the gift that you are to our family.  Someone told us the other day, how happy we must be to have such a perfect baby - they didn't know what we went through to get you here, but I told them - they were right - we are so blessed as you are perfect to us.  We love you Parker Robert!
Happy Half Birthday Baby Boy!
This is when the chair picture starts to get harder...poor sign is  little worse for the wear now
 Happy, Laughing Baby Boy

 Pretty Blue eyes!
I mean, come on...who doesn't love a lil baby fat?!?
 I love his sweet rolls

showing off a new skill - pushing up to all fours!
So - as I was doing this lil chair photo session, Kelson was "helping"  me as Doug was not at home.  Well - I had just taken Parker's clothes off to get his rolls and I look over and Kelson is taking his clothes off.  Next thing I know he's climbing in the chair to be with Parker.  It was HILARIOUS!  Kelson never wants me to take his picture, so I took this opportunity.  I can't wait to blow these pictures up when they are in high school and embarrass them.

 Brotherly Love
 BUAH HA HA HA HA
 Just chillin.
