This past weekend, we headed to Lake Jackson to celebrate Doug's Dad's 60th birthday. We had fun playing at Doug's old elementary playground with Grandma and Grandpa. Kelson literally dragged Grandma all over the playground. I don't think she minded though. Kelson and Grandma are best buddies. He is constantly asking "where'd Grandma go" or "I want Grandma". He quickly figured out that Grandma is a softy and is way more likely to bend on the rules than Mom/Dad. Below are some pictures from our fun morning at the playground.
This is Kelson's "surprise" face. He makes this face when I tell him I have a surprise or I whisper something to him. I LOVE IT
On Saturday night, we went out to dinner as a family with all of Rick's friends. It was fun to meet Rick's friends and celebrate. Becky/Lucas and Doug/I gave Rick a trip to Galveston as a family. He is pretty excited about spending a long weekend together as a family at a beach house. He was definitely surprised and it was fun to see the look on his face as he figured it out.
This is Anne helping Rick read his card...haha! :)
Of course Kelson needed to sit in Grandma's lap
Rick figuring out what we got him
This is very typical. Kelson does not like to smile for the camera...joy
Poor Parker is cutting 3 teeth right now, so he chews on everything...
HAPPY 60TH BIRTHDAY GRANDPA!
Whatever Kelson wants, Kelson gets. Parker will learn that soon that will go for him, too!
