Parker turned 7 months on December 20, 2011. Lots of changes happened for sweet Parker from month 6 to 7. The biggest change is that Parker went through "sleep" boot camp with Daddy and now sleeps all night in his crib. It was a ROUGH adjustment, but it just got to the point where Mommy and Daddy weren't sleeping very well with Parker rolling around in between us all night. I was really sad to not have Parker to snuggle in the middle of the night, but the change needed to happen. For the first few days of sleeping upstairs, I would go get him when he woke up and bring him to our bed to nurse and then we'd both fall asleep...but...Daddy said enough is enough. Your Daddy slept on an air mattress in your room for a few nights to "help" you fall back asleep without nursing. While it was hard for me to stay downstairs, it was the best thing for you. You now sleep "most" nights in your crib. A typical night is that you go to sleep between 7:30/8:00 and sleep until 5:00. I nurse you at 5:00 and then you typically fall back asleep until 7:00. You and I get some snuggle time in bed before Kelson wakes up at 7:30. If you are lucky, you get a morning nap at home (sadly most days we are out and about so you just have to nap on the go) from 9:00-10:30. Your afternoon naps vary on the day. You typically go down at 12:30 (when Kelson naps) for atleast an hour or two.
You also started to get rice cereal about a week before you turned 7 months old. So far, you are an amazing eater! You love the cereal and even open up your mouth for more. Your Daddy and I are STOKED about this as feeding your brother has been a struggle from DAY ONE! We are hoping to introduce some veggies in the next month. Honestly - you love to nurse and you are gaining weight great, so the pediatrician is fine with our plan of a slow introduction of solids.
One milestone I'm not so happy about is that you got sick for the first time. Yep - my sweet baby got RSV. BOO. NOT FUN. You handled everything pretty well and were still a happy guy. Poor thing just couldn't breathe and had a hard time sleeping (total regress from Daddy's sleeping boot camp).
At the same time that you got RSV, you also cut 2 teeth at the same time. Yep - you now have 2 teeth on the bottom. You handled teething really well and really weren't too fussy. I pray that you handle all of your teeth this well.
Parker - I want to remember this last month as the month that you got REALLY mobile. You are rolling around like crazy and push up to all fours all the time. You are also pushing all the way up to your toes and making a bridge. I know that it won't be long before you are crawling in full force. You also can sit-up all by yourself with no support. You are perfectly content sitting up and playing with your toys and watching your big brother run around. Your smile and laugh still make all of us smile and we know that you will probably be our little sunshine man. We pray that you will continue to find happiness and laughter in your life. We love you sweet boy!

Yes - sorry - I can't resist stripping him down to his diaper...just love his rolls
The cloth diaper is literally as big as it will go and it doesn't really fit. Not sure if we'll be able to cloth diaper Parker
