Our sweet baby boy, Parker Robert, turned 9 months old on February 20th. YIKES! SERIOUSLY? Parker - please stop growing so fast! I say this every month and every month it's true - time is literally flying by before my eyes. This was a big month for Parker. You got RSV AGAIN! This time it got in your lungs, so you were put on breathing treatments morning and night. Let's just say, you did not like the breathing treatments in the slightest. Luckily, you have bounced back and have been mostly healthy for the last part of your 8th month.
Parker's 9 Month Stats:
Length: 29 inches - 75-90%
Weight: 21pounds 10ounces 50-75% (this baffles me...I cannot believe there are that many kids bigger than Parker! To put it in perspective...this is more than Kelson weighed at 18 months!)
Head Size: 18.5 - 90%
Developmentally this has been a HUGE month! You have started to full on army crawl. You push up to all fours and have lifted your hands to really crawl, but immediately fall on your belly and army crawl. You are fast and definitely get where you want to go. You have also started to push up from laying down back to sitting up. This is fun to watch as you always look around like "look at me!". You also like to stand up - you like your music table and of course destroying the train table (much to your big brother's dismay). You aren't really pulling up on anything yet. You are definitely getting more of an opinion these days. You are still our happy lil guy, but you will definitely tell us when something isn't going your way (i.e. your brother takes a toy from you or we remove whatever you are trying to eat out of your hands). You let out this really cute frustrated squeal and give us the puffy bottom lip. It's pretty cute actually.
You have also progressed with your real food - you know eat: sweet potatoes, peas, carrots, carrots/chicken, pears, prunes (you are prone to getting constipated) apples, and a few puffs. BUT - by far your favorite is Rice Cereal. This still baffles us as Kelson hated the rice cereal. You literally inhale it at the end of each day. We have started to give you puffs and sometimes you do great and other days you gag on them. You are doing great at using your pincer fingers to pick them up though which is great.
As for sleep - pretty much the same as last month. You are still waking up atleast once a night. Your naps have been interrupted by teething lately. You now have 6 teeth (4 on bottom and 2 on top). You are working on cutting through 2 more on the top and they are giving you a rough time. You typically have to nurse in the middle of your nap as you just can't go back to sleep b/c your mouth hurts so bad. Poor baby.
Sweet Parker - I want to always remember your cute belly and your belly laugh. I wish I could just bottle it up and play it over and over again. I have loved seeing you interact with your brother this month. You are inthralled with Kelson and are constantly on the move to stay with him. I love that you are still cuddly and are definitely a Momma's boy. We love you sweet boy!

Little Flirt
You have also really started talking this month. This is you talking ...probably saying Dadda.
It's hard work having a Mommy as a photographer
This is a normal look for you this month - tongue out. You are feeling your new teeth constantly. It's pretty cute.
