To say that the fall is a stressful time of year for me would be an understatement. I'm so busy capturing other people's families, that I rarely find time to photograph my own children (hence why the blog wasn't updated for 6 months). HOWEVER, I HAVE to photograph our kids for our Christmas Card. I can't send out crummy pictures to my clients...you know? So - we all got dressed up (b/c my clients don't know my kiddos, so I need to be in atleast one pictures) and headed to Downtown Grapevine. My Dad came along to help us get a family picture and I did the rest...I was really pleased with our lil session. Kelson is at the age where he gets it and will actually smile (with lots of bribery of course).
Boys on the train
I love this one...I love it b/c Parker is holding his rabbit. This rabbit was given to him by my best friend, Lindsey Strueber. Her and I had similar rabbits growing up and we took them everywhere (until Lindsey's flew out the window one day...never to be seen again). Parker LOVES this rabbit and we do take it everywhere.
When did he get so big?!? He has his hands in his pockets!?!
Love this b/c it shows his lil squint that he does with his left eye (very similar to the whole Shelby Family) when he smiles.
One of my newborn clients had this car and graciously let me borrow it to use for our lil session
I've already ordered this pic in a huge canvas for the house...love it.
Family pic success! Thanks Dad...it's hard to get everything right in the camera, frame it, then run in to the shot, pick up a kiddo and smile...so...thanks Dad
LOVE!!! The boys were throwing rocks in the lake and then just stood there and hugged on each other. They truly are best friends and love to play together.
Parker showing off that he's FINALLY walking!!!!
I like to call this the many faces of Kelson...what a goober
You got some great pics!! Maybe some time when I come in town we can do a little family session swap, since I know you don't get to be in the pictures as much as you would probably like to!
