We had a lot of fun with Halloween this year. We had tons of fun at all of the pumpkin patches, painting pumpkins, costumes, trick o treating, the "Pumpkin Show" at the Halls, and the Vollmer Annual Halloween Party. It's so fun to see Kelson start to understand holidays and get in to the spirit of them.
We stated off the Halloween week festivities with Kelson's Halloween Party at school. Parker and I came up to participate with Kelson. He was very excited!
Craft time at the party
Parker and Mia's lil bro Knox watching the action (I kept him in the stroller as long as I could before he wanted out to play with the big kids)
Kelson on the magic carpet. He was showing me that he sits on the Ostrich
K's teacher Ms Wendy
Time to decorate cookies
All done - time to chow down!
On Halloween night we met up with my brothers to get some cousin pictures. Everyone was so cute! Rob's family was Wizard of Oz themed and Scott's was Toy Story.
Baby Tripp as the Lion - ummm...ADORABLE?!?
Brooklynn as Dorothy and Tripp. How beautiful is my niece?!?
The whole gang of Shelby cousins...Parker wasn't pleased to be in the grass. He hates grass. He was also hungry.
uh oh - Baby Austin fell over.
Rob's family
My two super heroes! I made their costumes and had a lot of fun doing it. My Mom always made our costumes growing up and it was so special. I made the capes pretty durable so that they could wear them for a while. They are reversible with their initials on the inside.
Batman and Robin - the unstoppable duo
Sweet Madie as Jessie. Kelson was pretty pumped with Madie and Austin's costumes since Toy Story is his favorite.
Crazy to think that last year for Halloween Madie had a "Big Sister" pumpkin bucket and that's how they told us they were pregnant. This year - we have sweet Austin as Woody!
We then left my brother's and headed back to our neighborhood for our neighborhood party. We had a great time as usual. We love our neighbors. Our couples group from church also came so it was great to get the kiddos together.
Robin got some food and is now in much better spirits.
Church group kiddos...this isn't even half of the kids from our group.
Time to go trick or treating with BF Landon!!!
First house!
Such a big boy knocking.
Eric and Kelson watching the show
As you can tell...we ran all over town. Parker was TIRED
Time to Dance!
Just a few of Kelson decorating his pumpkins. He had so much fun playing with his pumpkins from the pumpkin patches.
Love this b/c this is Kelson's true smile. Mouth open and bright eyes. Love my sweet boy
