Digger Day

On Friday, the city of Carrollton had a "Digger Day".  They brought out a bunch of construction equipment, dump trucks, etc for the kids to climb on.  It is a neat idea and we met up with our St Ann's Mom's group.  Well.  I underestimated the HEAT.  We've been slightly spoiled in that August hasn't been nearly as hot as it normally is.  It was really humid and super hot on Friday and both boys and this 9 month preggo were MISERABLE.  We had fun while it lasted though!  Well - Kelson had fun...Parker didn't want to climb on the trucks..just look at them.

Kelson hooks his horns in all pictures now...can't say I blame him!  :)
Please notice that Parker is carrying an excavator...yep...had to bring a construction toy with us
sweet boy was not sure of things

There was a pond next to where the construction equipment was, so we went down there to feed the ducks and hopefully find some shade and cool off...
Plus...someone started honking the dump truck horn and Kelson was not happy...poor guy still has a hard time with loud noises.  And this horn was LOUD
Look at how sweaty the boys are...poor babies...we left quickly after this as I was starting to have contractions and it was hot hot hot...and someone was still honking the dump truck horn...
