We drove on July 4th from Leakey to Lake Jackson to see Doug's family. We had planned to spend one day at the beach. Kelson still remembered visiting Galveston last year so he was really excited. We had a hard time getting him out of the water. He just wanted to play in the water and see the "big smackers"...aka the big waves.

All in all it was a very successful visit to the beach. The kids had a blast and both boys fell asleep before we could even get out of the parking lot.
