Two Month Chair Picture - Shelby Ann November 4, 2013

I can't believe it's already been 2 months since Shelby Ann joined our family.  She is truly such a joy and blessing.  This last month has been fun and challenging.  I'm adjusting to having all 3 kiddos by myself Monday-Friday.  I had so much help in Shelby's first month which was awesome...but month two I had to start to figure out our new routine.  Luckily, Shelby is the BEST sleeper of any of our kids.  She is already sleeping through the night most nights.  Which is NUTS.  I always heard that some babies did this, but I figured they must not be nursing or their kids must be crying.  Let me tell you...this little angel SLEEPS!  Most nights I'll feed her around 10pm and then she will sleep until 7amish.  Somedays she sleeps longer and some days she wakes up around 6:00am.  I'll take it!  Kelson and Parker both were over 8 months old before they slept this long.  Shelby is a great lil nurser.  She also will take a bottle of milk when I'm working (which I started shooting again this last month).  She is honestly a happy lil baby.  She spits up lots just like the boys but she's a happy spitter.  I'm having fun with all the sweet dresses that have been given to us.  My friends give me a hard time b/c this lil girl ALWAYS has a bow on her head.  Well...after 2 boys...of course she does!

Shelby hasn't gone to her 2 month well check-up yet b/c we actually had a little cold so we didn't want to vaccinate her when her immune system is not 100%.  Unfortunately that means I don't have a height measurement for her.  But...big girl did weigh 13lbs 11oz when I took her in!  My pedi laughed when I told her Shelby was a good sleeper.  She said - well...she's a big baby...she doesn't need to nurse in the night!

This was try #1 at chair pictures.  Sweet girl didn't feel good and wasn't happy about the pictures.  She just wanted to be held.
Gorgeous Blue Eyed Angel

Try #2 was more successful
This month Shelby has discovered her hands.  It's hilarious.  She just stares at them in awe.
Baby feet melt me

Shelby is also always sucking on her bottom lip.  She isn't that reliant on the paci b/c she does this.  She has literally been sucking on this lip since her birth.

And this is why I tried the chair pics again.  THIS SMILE.  She is so smiley!  Love her
Checking out that hand again

all 13 pounds and 11 ounces of baby goodness.  Love her rolls!

As per our other babies...Shelby doesn't have much hair...what little she does have is definitely a shade of red.
The boys are still obsessed with their sister.  Parker calls her "my baby selby!" and Kelson is constantly stroking her hair and loving on her.  I love that the boys love her so much.  I also love that our boys are so close in age.  They entertain each other so that I can care for Shelby.  They of course have their sibling disagreements but for the most part they play great together.  Shelby you are so lucky to have these two as your big brothers.  I pray that the three of you always watch our for each other and support each other.
