A post about not posting

There are many things that would commonly be thought to be stressful about entering the realm of child ownership. Many people might be worried about their parenting skills, how they are going to afford their new child, and loss of many freedoms that come with a baby, but in my case, it’s this blog. Since the conception of this blog, (no pun intended) I have been completely blank on what to write here and hence the absence of posts authored by me. After much urging, ridicule, harassment, pestering, mockery, scorn, and derision from Erin I am going to post for real this time. So here it is, a post about not posting. Brilliant.

In other news I’ve been reading a book titled “Your Pregnancy, for the Father to Be.” It contains all the necessary details about being an expectant dad for those first timers like me. While it has some good information, and so far has not failed in predicting the future of what it will be like, I could save the publisher some time and paper by summing up the whole book in two sentences.

"A very sick alien will take over your wife’s body, vomit often, and demand to be fed, not necessarily in that order. Do whatever she wants and be happy."

I think that would pretty much do it.

That’s all I have for now. Hopefully I can manage more than one post every 15 weeks.
