I'm officially 17 weeks and 1 day. Only one more week til our next doctor appointment.
The Baby's growth this week:
The baby's skeleton is changing from soft cartilage to bone. The umbilical cord is growing stronger and thicker. The baby weighs about 5 oz now (about the weight of a turnip) and is 5 inches long. The baby can move it's joints and it's sweat glands are starting to develop.
Update - I was able to get my lazy bum out to exercise 4 times last week. I even ran some which felt weird, but so good to be running again. I know I won't be able to run for much longer, but I'll enjoy it for now. I only make it about 1 mile before I stop and walk as I don't want to over due it.
Have a good week! Doug and I are off to New York City Thursday night to see Tracy and we are sooo pumped!!!
