Parker is 10 months old

Poor sweet Parker - It's the 2nd child syndrome...Mommy is REALLY late in posting about your 9th month...as in tomorrow you'll be 11 months old and I'm just posting that you are 10 months old.  Yikes.  I'm sorry sweet boy.  It is not because I don't love you - life is just BUSY.

This last month was definitely better in that you didn't get sick - praise God.  You were back to our happy lil guy this month.  You are still working on 2 teeth on the top - they are taking their sweet time to cut through.  You stick your tongue out all the time feeling your new teeth.  You are definitely sleeping better.  You still don't consistently sleep through the night, but you normally make it to 5am before you want to nurse and then sleep for a couple of hours before you are up for the day.  You are still taking two 1.5/2 hour naps.  We tried to make more of an effort this month to make sure you get your morning nap before we head out on a daily adventure.  Some days though, you have to nap on the go (at the zoo, aquarium, park, etc).  I thank God that you are flexible and don't completely lose it when you miss a nap (contrary to your big brother).  You have continued to express your lil personality - i.e. you pretty much would be happy if someone held you all day.  Seriously - Kelson at this age just wanted to be on the floor crawling around and you just like to be held.  This means that when Mommy puts you down b/c she has to cook, go to the bathroom, etc- you let me know that you aren't happy that you are on the floor.  Don't get me wrong - you like to do your fair share of crawling around and exploring, but for the most part you are A OK in Mommy's arms (and since you are such a lil chunker - you should see Mom's biceps!).

You have full on started crawling this month.  KK and I love to watch you crawl.  You crawl 1-2 steps and then hop your legs up.  It's pretty darn cute.  You have also started to pull up on everything.  You can't get down though, so when you are ready to get down, you just yell and someone comes and helps you down.  We do this about 50 times a day.  You have also started one of my all time favorite "tricks".  When we ask you "How big is Parker?" you reach your hands up to the sky...see picture below
You also love to clap.  You love clapping with Kelson in the car when we sing "Your happy and you know it".  Speaking of Kelson.  He's your BFF.  Seriously...it's awesome.  You and Kelson are 2 peas in a pod.  If you are fussy all it takes is for Kelson to walk up to you.  You then start giggling and "talking" to him.  Kelson is equally as obsessed with you.  The first thing Kelson asks for everyday is "where'd Parker go?!"  I hope that you and your big brother are good friends forever.  It's awesome.
 How Big?!?
You also started making really funny faces this month

My sweet snuggler.  You lay your head on Mommy and Daddy like this all the time.
In case you missed it before "SO BIG!"
Parker Robert - we love you more than we can ever express.  You are such an amazing blessing to our family.  It's hard to imagine what our family was like before you joined it.  We hope and pray that you will grow up and continue to bring joy to all those that you meet.
